Election Day (again)

While cleaning the garage, I noticed the absence of cars in my front door neighbor's apartment. I thought it's Monday and they are supposed to be here to work and then ahh, it's election day! I suddenly thank the spirits silently that the daily noise brought by the loud music passing by our street daily from all the candidates both local and national, will finally cease..and that's why there was this different kind of silence when I woke up this morning.


I know that those noise has a purpose but I also know that after the election everything will still be the same. They can fire a cannon daily for all I care if it means peace and progress in the end. But we all know that's not gonna happen, at least not in this lifetime. (My Indian national neighbor is picking up trash on the street. It's nice to know that your neighbor is also a clean freak. never mind the fact that they smell. It's their diet so we cannot do anything about it. They are nice people though, at least this neighbors are..)


I am not gonna make any speech about who I will vote for and why because I'm not voting. Yes, sue me..but whoever say that my vote counts is lying. Nobody's vote counts because people in power get to pick who they want to put in the position. That's what I believe. This country is in real deep shit and I cannot even think how it can be fixed. Well I guess if people change something might change as well. Yes, that's it. We can change the officials of this country everyday but as long as the people is still the same then this country is doomed....forever....
