My day so far...

I thought i'd write something about my day while waiting for Lifestyle to text me to pick up my daughter's dress. Tomorrow is one of my daughter's big day..the senior's night. I called them up awhile back to follow up the dress and I was told they were just starting to make it. My initial reaction naturally was to freak out and reminded them that the event is tomorrow. The lady at the other end calmly said "iyo po"..that's when I calmed down as well. I figured the dress is simple so it musn't be that difficult to make. I was told I could get it later so here I am waiting..

Anyway, this morning, I attempted to walk Big Boy, my only male dog in the house and to my surprise he had a pull and almost dragged me along the compound when he saw this chicken to run after it! I grabbed a concrete post and when he run again I scratched my hand on the post leaving my hands bruised and sore..huhuhu..Under any circumstances would I let him go especially when I saw a "yaya" with a baby just ahead of us watching my ordeal. I knew if i let go the yaya's tendency would be to run and of course the dog would run after her too putting them in danger as well as my dog once they think they might get hurt. I struggled to turn him around because he won't let go of the chicken and when I finally did, i brought him back home. I tied him outside the gate and left him there while I bought some dog food.

Once inside the compound on my way back, I saw Tifa walking leisurely towards the gate. No surprise there. I already knew what happened. Big Boy pushed the big gate in from the outside thus making way for Tifa to go out. I have no problem with Tifa though so it was easy to lead her home even without a leash. What a way to start my day eh?

I realized now though that it's a mistake accepting Tiya's offer to live here. Yes, the big space for the dog sold me but it is now one of the culprits for their skin problem so the only factor on why we're here is gone. Another reason is that I make my neighbors uncomfortable. Before there's this one house with their main door always open but when Tifa started her "Houdini" tricks it scared them now it's always closed every time I passed by. Coincidence? I don't know but their fear is real and no amount of explanation from me could change that. I respect and understand their fear and it is my responsibility do something about it. It would be like if my neighbor loves snake and has one in their house, I'd be real scared too so I really do feel them.

I also don;t see my neighbor's kid playing outside their house anymore so it makes me guilty.

I went downtown to have lunch and at the same time to buy some canned dogfood for Brooke. If I have a choice like the accessibility of LCC, I will not buy groceries there. Well I thought it's just a couple of items so why not.  Their produce section is dirty and they sell rotten veggies. There was this one time at the produce section with all the vegetables and fruits in the open, that section was infested with flies! FLIES! We all know what that means. In this house if I see even one fly, I'd get a bucket and a mop to disinfect! It could only mean that my place is dirty. If there's one thing I cannot take that is a fly. I can live with cockroaches but flies?..no thanks! Well, I have 6 dogs going back and forth inside and sleeping at night, so sometimes I get to open the door wide a bit long so some flies get in. Anyway, this is not to bad mouth LCC but, I'm just saying..

At the bread section, I was looking for Cherryland's Ensaymada Hopia. I bought one last time and i loved it! It wasn't available in LCC so I took a short walk going to Cheryland's store which is along Magallanes St, also known as China town. Now this is my kind of bakeshop..clean and over the years continue to give us quality and delicious breads. I believe no other bakeshop could top CherryLand in this city yet...I'm just sayin...

Now where is that dress...
